Ring flood light looses connection

My new ring flood light keeps disconnecting from the network. I’ve read other posts and this seems to be a common problem. The solution seems to be, “hit the reset button on the unit and reconnect”. Unfortunately my finger isn’t 1000 miles long. This unit is useless to me or anyone who is away from the property for more than 24 hours. If I hadn’t had the unit more than 30 days I would return it. This is obviously a design flaw and Ring should do a recall on this product. Which would be the honorable thing to do.

Hi @user72303. While Floodlight Cams do not have a common problem of disconnecting, it is more common that they just have a low RSSI, which causes them to disconnect from the network. This can often be corrected by installing a Chime Pro or a WiFi extender of some sort.
