Ring flood lamp drops off network and sometimes can’t access live view
app-settings
troubleshooting
I’ve had this flood lamp camera for almost three months and it seems that it drops off my network every 3 weeks or so. I’m not sure why it does this since I’ve ran a speed test on my phone while under the flood lamp and it gets very good speed of 330+. Another issue that I’ve been getting lately is that when I get a notification alert & try to view the activity through the application I’ll get a stream error. This is new and definitely not what I expect from this system that cost me almost $200. Anyone have any tips for me?

Hi @CaptainM. First, you'll want to check the RSSI for your Floodlight Cam as the RSSI measures your Ring's connection to your wifi network. You can read more about RSSI in our Community Post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229#M4). A high RSSI can result in your Floodlight Cam from disconnecting occasionally. For Live View concerns, you can check out our Community Post on that topic [here](https://community.ring.com/t/ring-live-view-not-working-or-connecting-ring-troubleshooting-tips/249) for some troubleshooting tips and tricks. I hope these resources are helpful! :)
