I bought my ring system in Oct 2023. I am using Ring Protect Plus plan. As I will out town for two months and want to cancel the plan first and subscribe again later. Will it affect the extended warranty if I re-subscribed later? I guess I can stilll get the extended warranty if say I re-subscribed in May 2024 when it is still within the original one year warranty period? Many thanks.
Hi @user78687. The extended warranty applies as long as you subscribe to the Ring Protect Plus plan while your device’s standard warranty still applies. Any lapses in coverage after the standard warranty expires will void the extended warranty. I’d suggest contacting our support team to confirm the status of your system’s warranty, as we don’t have access to account details here on the Community.
