ring doorbells (and amazon cloud cam) went offline suddenly, no power or wifi issues

I have 2 ring doorbells 1st gen and an Amazon Cloud Cam, and after working fine for 9 weeks, all went offline suddenly. I’m several states away so can’t test myself, but had a friend go to the house and confirm that doorbells are getting power (my app also says they are getting power), they both chime when pushed, and the wifi network can be connected to from phones, computers, etc., so wifi is working fine in the house. My Device health in the app says it’s hardwired, power is very good, but status is offline. What the heck?
