Ring Doorbell Wired Fails Reconnect To Wifi

I’ve got a few Ring Doorbell Wired products, I have noticed that all of them seem to fail to reconnect to wifi if there is a brief power or internet outage.

Once internet is restored all my other ring devices such as flood light and spotlight cameras will reconnect again but the ring doorbell wired will not… I’ve always have to go on the app and manually go and click the side button on the ring doorbell wired to manually reconnect it!

Anyone else encountering this same issue with their ring doorbell wired? Does the ring doorbell wired not have an auto reconnect feature?

Additional info: I have checked my wifi connection which both have consistent/strong wifi RSSI-43 and transformer voltage is good.

Hi @BlueSkyEnergy. The Doorbell should automatically reconnect to your wifi network after an outage. If it’s not, I’d recommend trying a reset by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, set the Doorbell back up in the Ring App and monitor it to see if this happens again.
