Ring Doorbell Pro problems

Yesterday we had Wifi problems and after a restart the doorbell would not connect to the wifi, tried to reconnect without any luck (hard reset, restarted the router). None of this worked so even deleted the device from the app hoped would reset the device, no!! So we have a doorbell we cannot connect to now and it wont fully reset, white ring after a reset & blue circle light if you press the bell. With the doorbell not on any app either now were lost as to what to do.

Great job taking those steps @Simonj! You’ve definitely covered the right troubleshooting. If all your in home devices are still connected to your network, your Ring device should connect as well. I recommend removing and reinstalling the Ring app on your mobile device, and ensure bluetooth or VPNs are disabled during setup.

Depending on the router type, creating and attempting connection to a guest network is a great way to rule out many network variables. If your Doorbell still does not setup, please reach out to our support team for in-depth troubleshooting. :slight_smile:
