Our Ring doorbell Pro loses wifi connection 3 or more times per week. It is just over a year old and gas only recently had the issues. We have not changed our broadband but i have to take the battery out to reconnect it its very annoying Does anyone know how it can be fixed or should Ring step in to replace it?

Hi @user11817. Your Video Doorbell Pro disconnecting from wifi could have various different causes, but typically it will be due to a poor connection. Try the troubleshooting steps below to narrow down what might be causing this: - Check the [RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229#M4) to see if it indicates a poor wifi connection. This is located on the Device Health page in the Ring app. - You can find a list of the ports and protocols used by Ring devices [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-The-Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices). You may need to make some adjustments to your router's settings if any of these are blocked. - Review any other changes to your wifi router or network. This could include automatic updates or changes that your internet service provider might have done, so you may need to contact them for more information or assistance. - Investigate the area around your Doorbell to see if there's any other electronic devices or specific materials that could be obstructing the wifi connection to your Doorbell. You can read more on this [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020044511-How-to-Make-Wifi-Work-For-You). These troubleshooting suggestions should help you determine what is causing your Doorbell Pro to disconnect from your wifi network. If this continues to happen despite checking these, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a deeper look with you. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support. :)
