Spent an hour with customer service to troubleshoot connection of ring doorbell. Bottom line, problem is with their Ring network. It does not recognize WIFI or the chimes pro extender. Customer Service offered a 35% discount. I expected a swap for a new device as this thing is garbage. Taking my business elsewhere…
More than likely it has to do with your WiFi signal getting through your outside walls which are typically the thickest in a house.
Try getting your WiFi extender devices as close as possible to the doorbell.
