Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and Pro Power Kit

I have installed the Ring video doorbell pro 2 and installed the pro power kit v3 per instructions. Also, I ensured the doorbell settings were set correctly in the app to choose mechanical chime.

However, my indoor mechanical chime doesn’t work. So, I reinstalled the pro power kit from my previous version of ring doorbell and now my indoor mechanical chime works.

Any ideas why the pro power kit v3 wouldn’t allow my indoor mechanical chime to work as it previously did with the original pro power kit?
