Getting video recordings but no motion or bell alerts.
Hi @Rieseng! Receiving video recordings of an event is a great sign that your Ring device and motion settings are working. The next best thing to check is your notification settings. Please ensure the options such as People Only Mode, Motion Snooze, Motion Scheduling, or Modes are not interfering with your notifications. These settings can be found in your Ring app. I recommend also checking on your Doorbell page in the Ring app to see if the motion alert toggle is enabled.
If you are still not receiving alerts, please remove and reinstall the Ring app on your mobile device and ensure alert permissions are accepted. As you are using Android, it’s worth checking for any apps that might conflict with the Ring app. Feel free to let us know how this goes!
