Ring Doorbell not connecting to new wifi router

Ring Doorbell what a load of rubbish for the price you pay it simply is a rip off. Just changed my Router to a 5G router and with 2.4GHz and 5GHz capability but the thing won’t connect to the new router. Tried the help centre in Philippines but firstly the person was really hard to understand and secondly after 1 hour they couldn’t resolve the issue of it not attaching itself to the home Wi-Fi. In the end he said, it must be your internet provider blocking Ring from connecting what a load of garbage, he said it must be the firewall. A mobile internet connection for HOME BROADBAND has no firewall attached and yet he as a technician couldn’t work that one out! The router did but it was set to low so changed it to firewall off and yet it still won’t connect to the router or any 2.4Ghz signal.

Hi @user75784. I’m sorry to hear you haven’t had the best experience with our support team. We can assist with general troubleshooting on the Ring Community, but would need a few more details first. Which model of Ring Doorbell do you have? The model name can be found on the original packaging or on the Device Health page. Is there a specific error message you’re receiving when you try to connect your Doorbell to wifi? Feel free to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing on your end.
