I have set the motion zone and sensitivity and turned on the motion alerts but it only records if somebody rings the bell (i.e. mailman comes and goes and Ring doesn’t record or alert me)
Hi @AndiS39. Have you never gotten motion alerts? If you have never seen a motion event in your history, then please ensure you don’t have all zones off in Motion Zones, and that the slider on the second part of Motion Zones is not all the way done. If you’ve ensure these settings are ok, then please try resetting the Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 30 seconds. After this time has passed, try walking around and in front of your Doorbell, ensuring you are not in Disarm Mode, and that motion alerts is on for you.
