Ring doorbell intermittent operation

My doorbell (ring doorbell), which has worked fine for 2 years, now intermittently works (or doesnt!).

I’ve missed multiple deliveries due to the doorbell not working.

It says it is ‘online’ and has no issues, but it just will not send a ring alert when the doorbell is pressed.

Wifi hasn’t changed. Doorbell is reserved in the router.

When i tested it yesterday, worked fine…yet when i tested it today…no joy.

Any ideas?
