Ring Doorbell Installation Flashing Blue Light

Having some issues here where I installed a wired ring doorbell and it just continuously flashes blue and doesn’t connect to the Wi-Fi for installation. This is the second doorbell I have… customer service told me that my previous doorbell was not working properly and to return it. Now I’ve installed the second one and I am having the same issue. Help!

Hi @Alexgurv. Try resetting your Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that, attempt to set the Doorbell up again in the Ring App using the steps under Set Up a Device. If the setup still does not complete, there are multiple, simple, troubleshooting steps you can try in order to connect to the Ring network:

  1. Reboot your Apple device
  2. Adjust the Smart Network Switch on your Android phone
  3. Make sure your battery is fully charged if you’ve attempted set up multiple times during a first time set up.
  4. Try set up on a different mobile device
  5. Change Cellular data setting on an Apple device
  6. Change Wi-Fi Settings on Apple device.
