Ring Video Doorbell
Ring doorbell for tenant
I am a landlord and have a rental unit which I would like to provide a ring doorbell for my tenants. I got a ring doorbell elite which I am wiring up now. What is the best way to set up the doorbell so I can give access to each new tenant while they’re renting, then remove access once they move out? Can I be an administrator of the doorbell but give tenants full access? I don’t need to see the video or hear the chime or anything, I just want to be able to give/remove access when necessary. Thanks

Hi neighbors. You can add tenants as Shared Users on the Video Doorbell so they can receive notifications and access the Live View from the Doorbell, but they do not have ownership of the device. For more information on Shared Users, check out [this](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005235186-Controlling-Ring-Devices-With-Users-and-Roles) Help Center article. I hope this helps! :)

UBut this will still give me access to view the camera feed. This is very insecure from privacy point of view and really not acceptable with the tenants. Is there any other option for the same?

I don't see an answer for this question of allowing tenant to use ring doorbell while maintaining control?
