Ring doorbell blocked view
Does anyone have a setback where they installed their Ring Doorbell? During the day it’s fine, but at night the night view creates a glare on right side due to white molding on setback. Vision is very poor. The provided brackets won’t help because one is slanted down and one is to the side. Do I need a full buildout bracket?

Hi @IntravNY. Would you be able to provide a screenshot of the glare so we can best advise you on this? It is possible that the IR lights for your Doorbell are shining on the white surface, causing the image to become washed out. Additionally, try doing a test event with maybe a dark blanket over the white molding and see if this improves the video quality any. If it does, you can try adding the Corner kit to your mounting location. The Corner kit will allow you to change the angle from 15°, 30° and 45°. The Corner Kit can be found [here](https://store.ring.com/collections/accessories?), depending on your specific Ring Doorbell. Come back and let us know what you were able to discover!
