I have my Ring Video Doorbell and Driveway Camera set up with: Smart Alerts Advanced Motion Detection Motion Zones Package Zone (for the doorbell) I CONSISTENTLY do not get alerts of a delivery person coming up my driveway (or even front yard where I have the motion zone stretched out to) nor do I get alerts of a package on my front porch. I will however get alerts of my garden flag (that isn't even in my motion zone) blowing in the breeze, so much so that it has gone off 16 times in the last 3 hours notifying me that there is a person at my front door when it's just my garden flag. Any suggestions on how to have more accurate notifications so I'm not falsely alerted to someone being on my front porch but also get notifications for when there is actually a person or package on my front porch?

Hello @user59209. I would recommend the following steps for both Ring devices: - [Reboot the Ring devices using the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-Rebooting-your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera). - Increase [Motion Sensitivity](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Using-Camera-Motion-Zones). - If they are battery-operated, change the [Motion Frequency](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) to Frequent. - Verify that they have [good signal strength](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229). Now for the Doorbell, we have this Community [post](https://community.ring.com/t/caitlyn-s-guide-to-optimizing-your-doorbell-s-motion-detection/48107) with other steps to look into to improve motion detection. As for your Package Alerts, you have to be aware that they work best with medium-to-large shipping boxes. Envelopes, tubes, small boxes, and food deliveries may not be detected. You also want to make sure your [Package Zone](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406543928212-How-to-Get-Package-Alerts) is set to where your packages will be dropped off. The step I mentioned before of increasing Motion Sensitivity will help with Package Alerts as well. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concerns, you will want to reach out to our support team for further assistance. Give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus).
