Ring Doorbell 3 not working with my Integrated Chime

I tried connecting my new Ring Doorbell3 to the hard-wiring chime system by replacing my old doorbell.

When I press the doorbell, I don’t hear the indoor chime. I checked my chime system and its model is included in the “Mechanical Compatible” list.

It’s a Broan Model 972.

I’ve put it snug behind the screw in the back to complete the circuit. I even tried switching the wires. Still no luck.

What can I do so that we can hear the doorbell indoor?

Hi @iou2buckz. In the Ring app, select your Doorbell. Next, you’ll select Device Settings > General Settings. You should see an option to select your Chime Kit type (Digital, Mechanical) and make sure you have Mechanical Selected. Let me know if this helps.

No. I used Digital type 1 and 2.
