Ring DoorBell 3 Motion Issue

Just installed Ring DoorBell 3 and I love it.

I am now working from home everyday and I go in and out the front door for fresh air aseveral times a day.

Every time I go out the Ring detects my motion.

Today I had landscapers working on my property and they triggers the motion many times.

I went into Modes a selected DISABLE but it still detected.

I then checked the settings of DISABLE and unchecked Motion saved it

It still detects mtion every time.

Is there an update for the app

Glad to hear you are liking your Video Doorbell, @trgrassijr! Modes is a great feature to accomplish this, and it sounds like you were operating it properly. It’s always best to double check your Doorbell is included in that desired mode. Removing and reinstalling the Ring app is a great way to ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device.

In addition to modes, you can also use features such as motion snooze or motion scheduling to avoid unwanted notifications. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
