Ring Doorbell 3 does not automatically reconnect to wifi

My Doorbell 3 frequently disconnects from the wifi (often more than once daily) even though my wifi is stable and has a very strong signal near the Doorbell. Annoyingly, when it disconnects it DOES NOT automatically reconnect as stated it should.
The only way I can get it to reconnect is to remove the cover, take out and then put back the battery. The Doorbell then reconnects with no issues.
Why is this happening?

Hi @user30022. In the Device Health menu of the Ring app, what is the RSSI reading for your Doorbell? Also, does your WiFi have automatic switching from 2.4GHz to 5GHz? This information will give me a better idea of why this is happening.
