Ring Doorbell 3, 65%+ of time either fails to activate or shows blank screen

Many times Ring Doorbell 3 fails to activate or shows blank recordings, that has been for a while, thought it's a connection issue or software bug . On the other hand, I've Ring Doorbell 2 and it works just fine, both are on the same WiFi. Any solutions or suggestions? Thank you!

Hi there, @Doorbillusr! The best way to check wifi connection efficiency is through your Ring app [device health RSSI reading](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229). This will indicate your signal strength and any interference between your wifi router and Video Doorbell. While RSSI will read signal strength, it will not reflect speed or bandwidth, so please ensure these resources are plentiful for using all the devices in your home.
