Ring Doorbell (2nd Generation): Manual Shut Off

Hello, I have disconnected/disabled my Ring Doorbell and am now having trouble manually shutting the doorbell off. I’ve deleted it off my devices and everything in the app but now am having issues completely shutting it off. I’m in the process of moving and wont need it until we get to a new house. I have the orange button in the back that i thought would be the automatic shut off. No luck. Thanks!

Hi @JPEE. There is no on or off button for the Video Doorbell, but it won’t cause any damage or affect the Doorbell’s performance to leave it until you’re ready to install it again after moving. You may need to charge the battery before you install it at the new house, just to ensure you’re starting fresh with a fully charged battery. :slight_smile:
