When my ring2 doorbell shows activity it has started to come up twice on my phone. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Good question @Lw11! This could happen for a few reasons depending on the number of devices you own, integrations used, and/ or settings in the app. I recommend checking to see if you have the Ring and Rapid Ring app installed, as well as ensuring they are up to date. Also, check your notification toggles in the app to ensure they are set correctly.
If you have any linked devices, smart integrations commands, or alexa routines setup, ensure these are not resulting in additional notifications. I hope this helps!
You are probably receiving one notification from the ring app, and also one from the rapid ring app. If you go into the main ring app and disable the alerts in there, and check that the rapid ring sliders are on, you should then only get one alert and not two.
