Ring doorbell 1battery issues

My Ring Doorbell Mark 1 (running on battery) has drained by 90% in 2 weeks despite there being no additional activity than normal. It normally lasts about 2-3 months. Also when I plug in to a USB charger it takes about 2-3 minutes before the blue charging wheel lights up and starts spinning. Is the battery on its way out, and can it be replaced? Cheers

Hi @prhandley. I would recommend performing a reset of the Doorbell and a fresh setup to make sure everything is working properly. You can reset the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once the reset is done, follow the steps under Set Up a Device to get the Doorbell back up and running in the Ring App. If the battery is still draining quickly, then you should contact our support team for further assistance so they can help isolate the problem. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :smiley_cat:
