Ring Doorball: Device is Offline

My ring doorbell stopped working randomly and shows “this device is offline”. We have tried lots of troubleshooting steps to try get it re-connected to the wifi, and nothing works. I have been unable to get in touch with ring over the phone.

Anyone have any ideas of what we can try to resolve this?

Try moving, just as a test, your WiFi access device as close as possible to your doorbell to see if it connects.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue then a reset of your doorbell can be tried (https://support.ring.com/hc/en-au/articles/4405018926740-How-to-completely-reset-your-Ring-Video-Doorbell).
After that, pretty much contacting Support is your remaining option. And yes, wait times are long.

Hi im having the same issue with wifi saying im putting in the wrong password but it is definitely the right password did you find out now to resolve this, thanks

Hi @user17033. If your wifi password contains any special characters, try changing it to include only alphanumeric characters. Then attempt to connect your Ring device to wifi again.
