Ring door view cam doorbell set up / update loop

Had my door view cam for 8 months and in the last 6 weeks it has constantly been offline. Checked connectivity and was getting a great score for the WiFi strength but door constantly not connected. Either showing blank, white moving ring or dark moving ring.

When I try to set back up, it seems stuck in a loop or not willing to connect the strong WiFi.

Tried full reset, battery removal and everything else read on here. Can anyone help?

Another thing you can try is using a different smart phone or tablet while attempting a fresh setup of the Ring Door View Cam, if you have a different smart phone or tablet available. Tired it with a different device and the same issues

me too! ‘currently updating its internal software’ and then refuses to connect to wifi, despite apparently setting up ok beforehand. tried on two different phones… still on first installation so very frustrating…
