Ring door bell 2nd Generation will not connect or Facrory reset

Hi we have a ring door bell 2nd Generation which was hard wired untill recently. the battery needed charging . I therefore took it off to charge however it will not now reconnect or do anything Factory reset does nothing. if i plog it into the USB i get a flashing full blue ring, as though it is full charged. When i check setting i cab see a full green battery icon (see image)

If I unplug it from the USB nothing happens when pushing the centre button or factory reset button any suggestions welcome

Hi @Motzil. How long was this device left on the charger? It can take up to 8 hours for the device to fully charge. To perform a reset, you’ll need to hold down the orange setup button for 20 seconds, then release it.

Hi this was left on charge for a full 24 hrs as I’ve said the battery icon is showing green to say it’s fully charged.
