RING DOOR BELL 2 CHIME

MY RING DOORBELL 2 CHIME IS STUCK ON DEFAULT, I CANNOT SELECT A DIFERENT CHIME TONE, IT WAS WORKING FINE TILL I TOOK IT OUT OF THE WALL SOCKET TO DO SOME DECORATING, WHEN I PLUGGED IT BACK IN IT WONT MOVE FROM DEFAULT

Hi @Boz51. Are you receiving any sort of error message when you try to change the alert tone for your Chime? If so, Iā€™d suggest performing a quick reset by holding down the setup button on the side for at least 15 seconds. After that, try setting the Chime back up in the Ring App by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if that allows you to adjust the alert tone! :slight_smile:

Thank you for your reply, ive got out of bed today and much to my surprise when trying to change the chime tones on my ringdoorbell 2 chime it as after 3 days of trying is now working and i have been able to change the chime tone ring and the motion tone also to my sattisfaction .

Ive no idea why it did not work for 3 days and all of a sudden it is now
