Ring doesn't allow live viewing

Installed a ring doorbell last week.It's hard wired and the doorbell does work.It also notifies me when people are outside.However when I try to watch my doorbell camera live it just tries to load until it fails and asks to reconnect. I have tried other devices and this isn't working well.
