Ring Dashboard issues

Hello, has anyone encountered this issue? Sometimes I am having issues connecting to my Ring App stating it cannot connect to my dashboard on a Peephole Camera. Could this be a WIFI issue with to many electronic devices connected?

Hey @SharkGS! The first best step would be to test this in the Ring app on wifi connection only, as well as on cell data only, to see if one connection is working better than the other. Removing and reinstalling the Ring app can ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device. Please also ensure bluetooth and VPN are disabled. Let us know if this works! :slight_smile:

Cool, thanks for the trouble shooting. Seems like there are no issues now, & I have purchased a WIFI booster/extender. :robothappy:

Yup, as soon as I turned off Macafee VPN it was fine! Is there a way to configure VPN on my iPhone so I can have it on and still have the Ring app work properly? Thank You!

Hey @RRob68, happy to chime in for Marley here. The Ring website and Ring App are not compatible with any VPNs. You may be able to go into your VPN’s settings to have it be disabled when accessing the Ring App or Ring Website only, but I’d suggest checking with the VPN’s support regarding a feature like that.
