Ring cameras using computer stuck on "Activating live view"

So, as of a few days ago I cannot view any of my ring cams on my computer (on website) as I just get a continual “Activating live view” with spinning circle. Now I could before.

I am on Mac, using Brave browser (also tried Chrome) and I just can’t view online. The app however works fine.

So, since the app works it’s not: my cameras, my wifi, my connection…

I was able to connect as of about 3 days ago but now I cannot. I have been trying for 2 days off and on but just get the same message and spinning ball. Again tried with 2 browsers.

I was having the same problem on a Mac using Brave (and chrome) browser and discovered the problem to be Brave blocking “Auto Play” of videos for the Ring website. I noticed a small exclamation mark to the right of the web address in the browser. When I clicked it , I was prompted that Brave was blocking auto play and would I like to allow it for ring.com. Once I said yes to that change the Live view started working.
