The camera works perfectly fine, then when there is a update available it gets disconnected. Then have to reset and connect
- Have tried moving routers
- Moved to 2.4 wireless for ring devices
- RSSI is always green
I think its a problem which Ring doesn’t acknowledge may be hardwired works seamlessly. If this continues will not use the next upgrades
Hi @lisleUser. Typically, the Camera will try to automatically reconnect to wifi after a temporary outage or an update. If the Camera is unable to automatically reconnect, that’s when you have to manually reconnect it. This can happen if the signal isn’t strong enough, so you may need to move the router a bit closer to the Camera if possible. If this happens frequently, I’d suggest following up with our support team to look into this further.
