Ring cam and internet


We bought a ring cam 2-3 weeks ago and has been working great. It has now disconnected from our internet and whenever I try to connect it/reset it to our internet, it says it’s failed. Nothing has changed with our internet and our internet is still working great. Is there anything else I can try?

Hi @aujohnson. After double-checking the wifi password you’re entering, you can also try a full reset on your Ring Camera by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, take the Camera through a new setup in the Ring App. We also typically recommend using a 2.4GHz network over a 5.0GHz network (depending on which Ring Camera you have), as it has a longer effective range.
