Ring Battery Doorbell Plus Bad Video when person detected

I have just installed the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. When I review the video of a Person Detected the video is initially of poor quality before a few seconds it stabilises. Due to my property location etc this means the person is unrecognisable. It seems the camera is try to adjust for exposure when initially activated for recording before settling down. The doorbell is approximately 1.5 metres away from the wireless router and shows RSSI -51 in green. Is there a video/monitoring setting that means the camera is ready to go when capturing events?

Hi @pdrivvy. The only video setting available that would affect how your video looks during the day would be [HDR](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024512492-Using-the-High-Dynamic-Range-HDR-Toggle). You can try toggling it off or on to see if it helps with your concern. If not, reach out to our support team to look into this further with you. Give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Contact-Us).
