At some point last night my ring lost connection and came back online 4 minutes later. Then an hour after that it lost connection and never came back on. I have ring protection plus and it didn’t even go to cellular back up. It won’t let me connect to the home base and it won’t let me reset the home base. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you. As of now my system is bricked it seems
Hi there, @DuncanK! A red LED indicator on the Base Station is usually a sign of armed in a mode. It’s possible this was the last remembered state, or like you said, it may be offline. The best next step will be to power cycle your wifi router to see if it will automatically attempt network reconnection. If you are using ethernet connection, this should be most dependable, but try checking to make sure that port 6970 is open on your router.
If not, and as you mentioned attempting to connect your Base Station to no avail, this may require a reset. A factory reset of the Base Station is best handled with our support team.
