I received an original Ring doorbell as a closing gift when we bought a rental property. Since it’s a rental home, it will be up to the tenant to provide the WiFi service and connect the Ring Doorbell service if they choose to use it. If they DON’T have WiFi or don’t want to use it, does it still function as an ordinary doorbell button (when replacing an ordinary doorbell button)? I assume it does, but would just like to confirm before I install it.
