Ring App On A MacBook
How do I get my new Stick Up Cam to appear in the app on my MacBook? All I get is the twirly gearwheel and "Loading". Ring App v 2.8.3 MacOS 10.14.6

Hi Tom. I'm talking about the Ring App for MacOS on my MacBook. This is the app window. Th Stick Up Cam is battery powered.

Hi @MightyGem. Thank you for clarifying. I would update your Mac, as there are more current versions available . After that, reset your internet modem, then restart your Mac and once the wifi reconnects, try launching the app again. If this doesn't allow your camera to load, try reaching out to our support team for the next best steps. Thanks, Tom but v2.8.3 is the current version of the Ring app on the App Store. Updated 3 weeks ago.

THey @MightyGem. Correct, that is the latest version for the Ring app. I apologize for the confusion, but I was referring to your Mac OS. I believe there is 11 (Big Sur) and 10.15 (Catalina) updates available, depending on your specific Mac. I cannot say for certain that this is the cause for your concerns, but it may improve your experience with the Ring app. I hope this helps.

Hi @MightyGem. What screen in the Ring app are you on when you experience this? Is this from a Live View or are you adjusting settings? Also, is you Stick-Up Cam battery powered or wired? Thanks for the information.
