I installed a Ring Elite for a customer. The doorbell with video works fine except for the mechanical chime in the house doesn’t sound. I remember skipping the step in the Ring app setup where it asks if this Ring will be operating a mechanical chime or not (existing doorbell). The chime is wired to relay at the back of the Ring doorbell. I however, need to get this working but no longer have access to his account. I’m hoping I can simply get my customer to enable the mechanical chime within the Elite settings of the app. Is this possible or does the unit have to be reset?
I’m hoping I can simply send my customer instructions on where to find this setting in the app, but I can’t seem to find any documentation on the app. Can anyone confirm the location in the app where you can adjust this setting?
