Ring Alarm power supply
food requirements

Can anyone confirm the power supply specs for the alarm base station (for US)? I assume it's a transformer based setup since it has battery backup built in. From what I can find in online images, its a transformer style plug (big block at the wall end of the cord). Can someone get me the volts/amps from their power supply? I am interested in this system for my RV but I don't always have AC and would like to determine if I can build a direct DC power setup for it.

    The brick is about 3" H x 1.5" W x 1.25" D. From the label: Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.5A Output: +5.0V==2.5A, 12.5W ![image|386x500](upload://jk9zX9wQ8GPMa3aGyIc5nNT0QIf.jpeg) For size: ![image|515x500](upload://tTm37cGGhA2fwGdxbhbNmUmcEEM.jpeg)

      Thank you so much @windracer . Looks like a standard USB power supply will work just fine!
