Ring Alarm Keypad 1st gen issues

Hello. I am having some difficulties with my keypad. The speaker is not clear when announcements are made (sound is garbled) and I am having to recharge it every 48-72 hours, after going for nearly 4-6 months without charging. This is regardless of it being in power save mode or not. Please advise.

Hi @Gordonnt! Please ensure that your Keypad is close to the Base Station for best connection. There should also be a volume slider in the Ring app for your Keypad volume.
