"Ring Alarm ... has had its connection restored...."

I’ve had my alarm system for a couple of years, but this is my first post here, so please forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere.

For several days, I’ve been receiving Ring “updates” that tell me : “Ring alarm … has had its connection restored …” In each of these instances, I had not been notified that the alarm had lost its connection.

I have no idea whether there’s a problem with the base station or whether it’s an erroneous notification. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

Hi @Lfel. Have you tried rebooting your router? If not, I’d recommend doing so by unplugging it for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in. Thanks for your response. I restarted my router this morning, and almost immediately got a notification that Ring’s connection had been restored. So I assume that resolved the problem. I’ll check in with phone support if it continues.
