Hi, just wondering if the Ring Stickup Cam’s alarm button summons the Police? Because I accidently pressed it while trying to minimize screen, alarm went off, I stopped it, and 2 minutes later 2 Police Officers were coming off the elevator, they looked at my door, all was well, then they left. Coincidence? Would be nice if alarm went to emergency service
Hi @MsQ. The siren on the Stick Up Cam does not contact local authorities, so it looks like it was just a coincidence in this case! Police won’t be contacted from using the siren on any of the Ring Security Cameras, so you’re able to use that to deter off any unwanted visitors and can choose to contact local authorities under your own discretion.
