When the power goes out my ring alarm no longer works. And when the power is restored it continues to not work.
The only way to get it working again is to reset the power.
My setup is using ethernet to connect to the router.
Is there a way to fix this?
Unfortunately this is a defect in the design. Customers have complained for a few years about it. Very frustrating especially when one is away from the location for some time and is not able to manually reset the base station.
Ring/Amazon really needs to address this with either a firmware fix or a recall and replacement with upgraded units.
