I just installed my doorbell 3. I think about wiring the set. I read several things about that.
F.I. you use a AC bel transformer 8-24V, ( 40VA max.??) Also I read about the use of an 25 ohm wirewound resistor, 50 W if wiring directly into a transformer.
I miss the point here. When I buy an beltrafo, say 12- 24V AC, can I directly connect the doorbell to the transformer output, or do I have to put an extra resistant?
