Got a Ring 3 for Christmas, first charge took 2 days and both lights always stayed on. Two days ago I stopped getting notices. Checked and saw the batteries were dead it’s been charging (ac) and it’s still not going to green light only. Gave up and put in Ring 12 hours ago, now getting messages battery is dead. It is hard wired to the old door bell power.
Hi @Bradmugs. There are a few things that you can try to narrow down what might be happening. First, try charging the battery using a few different outlets, to see if that changes the charging capacity. You can also try using a different USB charger as well. If trying those 2 suggestions doesn’t allow your battery to charge in 6-8 hours, reach out to our support team for the next best steps.
