Ring 3 Battery Doorbell Not Activating

Any help would be appreciated:
Our Ring 3 battery doorbell stopped working.
Device health shows Online
Battery 96%
Signal Strength 54
WiFi speeds 44.44 download, 33.68 upload, Ping 22.
Live view just spins on “Activating Device”

Anyone have any idea what we need to do? Thank you!

I am replying to myself. This morning I removed the battery and then reinstalled it and received a notification that the Ring was updating its internal software and that could take up to 15 minutes. It is back online now and working properly.
