Ring 2 doorbell battery very low
Doorbell has been installed and working well for 1 year. Now the batter is down to 6%. Any ideas. By the way the doorbell is hardwired

Hey neighbors! Having your Doorbell hardwired to an existing doorbell circuit will provide it with a trickle charge to help keep the battery topped off. This means that the battery can still drain more quickly than it charges if your Doorbell experiences a large number of motions, dings, and Live Views each day. If you find that you're not receiving a large number of events but your Doorbell's battery is still draining quickly, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They'll be able to take a closer look at this for you. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)

you are not alone....mine did this back in january or february....i charged the battery and put it back in. still drained daily and then one day it fixed itself (software issue?)it started to act up again about a month ago. then fixed itself and now its back to be broken and not trickle charging....would love to know what is going on, because if it doesnt get resolved i will be moving to a different doorbell.
