Ring 1 doorbell won’t charge

We still have our original doorbell which is working fine and is all we need. However recently it has stopped holding its charge. We use it wirelessly and until now the charge would last some weeks but now barely lasts a day. I have tried turning off recording or motion to see what was draining the battery but even with all switched off it’s the same…

Hi @HMS. I would try to reset your Ring Video Doorbell by holding the Setup Button down 20 seconds, then release. Once the Doorbell resets, follow the steps outlined in this Help Center article here to reconnect the Doorbell to wifi. Once it is reconnected, hook the Doorbell up to the charger until the battery is at 100%. Use the Doorbell as normal and monitor the battery consumption.
