Rind door bell wifi issues

My ring door bell is fine when its inside as soon as i put it outside video doesn’t connect video through app and it keeps disconnecting from wifi

I’ve purchased the Chime pro will this help

What is your RSSI signal strength found in Device Health. Your door is probably made with sheet metal covering and causing interference with signal. Building materials don’t care if you have fiber or not, it will still cause interference with signals. Mount the chime as close to door as you can and it should boost signal. I had a poor signal of -65 and installed Chime Pro as close to door as I could and RSSI went up to -31which is an increase in signal strength and have had no problems.
