Hi, I have a retrofit alarm system. I can get the alarms to work. In about half of the cases, the terminal screws are fully retracted (unscrewed but still present). I have 18g wires (resistor ends and grounds). I try to line up the wire with the center line of the terminal screw but the wire will not go in. It does, sometimes go in well off of center. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
